What will happen to prestige rewards once legion is over?

I'm concerned because i know the devs have a new philosophy on removing items to make them 'more valuable' or something, but i don't seem to be able to catch up.

A new season is coming likely next week with more levels added and i just can't keep up with the honor grinding.

Arw the pets and mounts staying available come next expansion or must i hurry and rush like crazy to get everything now?
